Manual metal arc welding:

Every operator of ours possesses all the needed qualification in welding, in full compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9606-1:2017 standard, making use of the best and most advanced machinery, featuring the most advanced brands.

Our Staff does also possess the full qualifications in the field of Welding Procedures pertaining to the PQR (Procedure Qualification Report) in full compliance with AWS D.1.1/D1.1M:2015 concerning GMAW procedures, on those materials belonging to the 1.2 EN 10025-2 group : by the same token, our Staff members are compliant with the S355J2 regulations (i.e. the North American welding regulations) concerning various couplings, fittings, degrees of metal thickness and positions, as they also possess those welding qualifications being in full compliance with the AWS D.1.1/D1.1M:2015 regulations pertaining to the GMAW procedures.

Automatic metal arc welding:

By making use of a state-of-the-art FRO – AIR LIQUIDE automatic welding machine, we are able to weld beams, girders, double-T beams, chests, tanks and the like, as well as metal sheets and plates, by relying on a welding operator being in full compliance with the UNI EN ISO 14732:2013 standard.

Our Company is qualified, in full compliance with the UNI EN ISO 15614-1 standard, for the 135 Manual Welding procedures, for those material belonging to the 1.2 EN 10025-2 S355J2 group (carbon steel), as well as to the 1.4 CR ISO 15608 EN 10025-5 S355J0W group (corten steel), thus covering a very significant range of welding positions, degrees of metal thickness and a wide variety of couplings.

By the same token, our Company is qualified, in full compliance with the UNI EN ISO 15614-1:2012 standard, for the 121 Automatic Welding procedures, for those material belonging to the 1.2 EN 10025-2 S355J2 group (carbon steel), in full compliance with the UNI EN ISO 15614-1:2017 standard. Our Company is also qualified for those Level 2 materials belonging to the following groups, in full compliance with the relevant ISO standards: group 1.4 CR ISO 15608 EN 10025-5 S355J2W – S355JO WP (corten steel) and group 1.3 CR ISO 15608 EN 10025-3 S460NL (high resistance steel), thus covering serveral ranges of welding positions, degrees of metal thickness and a wide variety of couplings.

The Qualifications of our Staff:

As a further proof of the quality of its products and procedures the Costruzioni Famà Srl Company can rely on qualified personnel in order to control, coordinate and manage its welding department.

Our Company has qualified personnel as per the UNI EN ISO 9712:2012 standard concerning non-destructive weld testing, following the VT method, Level 2, as well as some staff members being qualified as welding coordinators, in full compliance with the EN 1090-2 standards.
